ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Alicja Chmielewska – a recent graduate of the Warsaw Film School. I also completed an acting course at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. I’m a young actress with several years of professional experience, passionate about both theatre and film.

My journey with acting began on the dramatic stage in Kielce, where I spent five formative years performing in productions, participating in workshops with actors and choreographers and engaging in international staged reading projects.

Alongside acting, I’ve always nurtured a strong connection with music. I graduated from the Music School with a specialization in piano performance, which remains one of my greatest passions and often complements my artistic work. To further develop my skills, I took part in musical theatre workshops, as well as regular professional acting workshops exploring techniques such as Stanislavski and Meisner. Additionally, I have taken part in workshops with casting directors.

I have attended the Cannes Film Festival twice, as well as Berlinale with the professional accreditation for filmmakers.

My experience spans both stage and screen. I made my film debut in the short film Zomoza and recently spent two months filming for a TV series. I've also appeared in numerous student short films and popular Polish TV series and films.

Outside of acting, I enjoy staying active and exploring different forms of movement. I am passionate about running and cycling and I am currently develop my skills through jazz and commercial dance classes. I also train regularly at the gym and occasionally enjoy horse-riding.
