ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Alicja Chmielewska – a young actress with several years of professional experience, passionate about both theatre and film. My journey with acting began on the dramatic stage of the Stefan Żeromski Theatre in Kielce, where I spent five formative years performing in productions, participating in workshops with renowned actors and choreographers and engaging in international staged reading projects. It was there that I laid the foundation for my craft and discovered my deep love for the art of storytelling.
Alongside acting, I’ve always nurtured a strong connection with music. I graduated from the State Music School with a specialization in piano performance, which remains one of my greatest passions and often complements my artistic work. To further develop my skills, I took part in musical theatre workshops at Studio Artystyczne Metro (affiliated with Teatr Buffo), and completed the "Intro to Meisner Technique" course at the Meisner Institute Poland. Earlier in my journey, I was also involved with the student theatre Hybrydy, where I participated in musicals and concerts.
Currently, I’m continuing my acting education at the Warsaw Film School, with my diploma performance scheduled for next year. I also regularly take part in professional acting workshops working with acclaimed figures such as Agata Duda-Gracz and Jan Peszek, and attending sessions with casting directors in Warsaw to refine my on-camera presence.
My experience spans both stage and screen. I made my film debut in the short film Zomoza, and recently spent two months filming for the TV series Na Sygnale, portraying the character Katia. I've also appeared in numerous student short films and popular Polish TV shows such as M jak miłość, Uroczysko, Na Wspólnej and Dzielnica strachu. These experiences have helped me feel at home both under the stage lights and in front of the camera.
